The Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware is pleased to reopen The Horizon Services Riverfront Rink for its 3rd season. This family-oriented, outdoor ice skating rink provides fun for all ages! The 2016/2017 season will run November 25th through the end of February 2017. The Riverfront Rink is able to accommodate approximately 350 skaters at once and will be open 7 days a week with extended hours during the holiday break. The Horizon Services Riverfront Rink not only brings the fun winter tradition of skating to the Wilmington Riverfront, it will also offer numerous programs and promotions throughout the skating season. Your Birthday Honoree will be sure to leave our facility having made a new friend on our party team!
- Your Skate Hero will assist lacing up every child in the party, starting with the birthday honoree!
- Your Skate Hero will be responsible for teaching a lesson to the group, giving your party the instructional value and keeping the “birthday honoree” the center of attention! (Estimated group lesson of basic skills 15-20 minutes)
- It is not over yet as your Skate Hero will continue to skate on ice through your birthday session and ADD that personalized interaction with your group.
Additional Information
- Parties must be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the party date.
- Maximum number of people is 25.
- $50 non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking. Deposit will be applied to your final balance.
- Final payment, count, skate sizes, and any additional details must be confirmed 5 days prior to your scheduled birthday party.

- Inclement Weather: Parties may be rescheduled due to the weather conditions or condition of the ice on the day of your party. Someone from our office will contact you with available dates OR you may opt to have each person receive a complimentary admission and skate rental pass.
- All party guests under the age of 17 must have a signed waiver on file the day of your party.
- All parties MUST BE BOOKED through the Riverfront Development Corporation Office.
- NO BOOKINGS WILL BE TAKEN AT THE TICKET SHED.

Group Information
- Group rate for 15 or more people is $6 for adults or $3 for kids 12 and under.
- Skate rental is $3 and may be purchased in advance.
- A $50 non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking. Deposit will be applied to your final balance.
- Groups must give final counts, skate sizes and payment 5 days prior to your confirmed date.
- Inclement Weather: groups may be rescheduled due to the weather conditions or condition of the ice on the day of your party. Someone from our office will contact you with available dates or you may opt to have each person receive a complimentary admission and skate rental pass.
- Groups with young children: we ask that there be 1 adult present for every 8 children attending.
- The rink will remain open to the public.
- All skaters under the age of 18 must have a signed waiver by a parent/guardian on file the day of your outing.
